The work behind it
NEEV did not start from nothing
Both founders were already doing this work before DEWI existed. NEEV gathers it into one place and gives the collective a way to stand behind it.

She has worked closely with government departments in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the Mother & Child kit, Health & Hygiene kits, and the Nutrition Chikki project.

NEEV runs on the women of the collective and on the people who turn up alongside them. There is no volunteer portal — volunteering is arranged directly, cause by cause, so that what you can give is matched to what is actually needed.
When you write to us, say
- Which cause you want to work on — eldercare, girl child education, environment, emergency care, health and hygiene, or rural women.
- What you can give: hours, a skill, a vehicle, a space, or supplies.
- Where you are, and whether you can travel outside the city.
