The same collective, in your city
A chapter is not a branch office. It is a room that meets every month, an outreach that goes to the doorstep, and a calendar that takes the shape of the place it lands in.
The monthly gathering
The heart of a chapter is one evening a month, held at a star hotel, a place of interest, a sponsor business centre or a resort. It runs in order.
- Parichay — Member introductions and open networking.
- DEWI Talk — A celebrated speaker opens the evening and sets its tone.
- DEWI Workshop — Practical demonstration — products, banking and finance, legal counsel, personal safety.
- Member Presentation — Two members present their product or business idea to the room.
- DEWI Self Help — Grooming, health, beauty, wellness, yoga, meditation.
- DEWI Entertainment — Games and prizes, then dinner or high tea.
DEWI at Your Doorstep
Community outreach, city chapters, and local networking meetups.
The chapter is what makes that possible outside Hyderabad — a local group that meets, and through which the collective can reach the women who cannot travel to it.
Festivities, locally
Bathukamma, the Varahi Yaga, the Christmas Carnival, the bazaar — the DEWI year moves with the city it lands in. Festivities and celebrations vary by location, chosen “keeping in mind the nativity and situation of the surroundings.”
