DEWI — Dynamic Entrepreneurs, Women & Innovators — was born from the shared vision of two friends who had navigated the rough and turbulent waters of life.
The DEWI story
When a woman rises, a family rises. When families rise, societies flourish. And when societies flourish, the world finds peace.
After all, the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.
DEWI is the brainchild of Dr Neelima Vemula — a woman affectionately known as The Connector. Blessed with the rare ability to bring people together, she envisioned a platform built not on status or competition, but on compassion, collaboration, and meaningful connections. Her dream was to create a sisterhood where every woman could find support, opportunity, and the confidence to transform her life.
Standing beside her was her friend and co-founder, Pallavi Nagalla, who believed that a woman can truly empower others only after empowering herself. She envisioned DEWI as a movement rooted in self-awareness, spiritual growth, emotional resilience, and clarity of thought. With the right knowledge, the right mindset, and the right community, every woman has the power to become a catalyst for change.
Together, they built DEWI — not merely as an organisation, but as a living ecosystem where women learn, heal, lead, build businesses, create brands, support one another, and leave behind lasting legacies.
At DEWI, success is not measured by individual achievements alone, but by how many other women each DEWI inspires to rise. Empowered women don't just change their own lives — they change generations.

Because the ground keeps shifting
Feminism is a range of socio-political movements and ideologies that aim to establish the political, economic, personal, and social equality of the sexes. Women’s rights movements, which originated in the 18th century, have fought for the right to education, voting rights, financial independence, criminal justice reform, and marriage laws.
Through the ages, the rules of feminism and the tolerance levels keep changing. Along with them, the collective consciousness of being a woman in today’s world keeps changing too. There is a need for women’s collectives to establish and organise knowledge and business sharing that benefits women across all fields, ages, and economic conditions. The decade past has seen so many changes that today’s woman has new requirements — and a need to reconnect with her roots while progressing at a rapid rate.
